Annual Golf Classic raises more than $126,000 for Boys & Girls Club

Check presentation Wednesday, April 20th at 11:30AM at Crosswinds golf course.

April 19, 2016 (Bowling Green, Ky.) – Houchens Industries, Inc. announced today that the annual golf tournament benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Bowling Green has raised $126,000. Now in its 27th year, the annual golf tournament raises much needed funds to support outreach and programming at the Boys & Girls Club. Houchens, along with many other supporting businesses and community partners, will commemorate this year’s successful fundraising event with a check presentation at the golf tournament Wednesday, April 20 at 11:30AM at Crosswinds golf course in Bowling Green.

“This year has been our most successful fundraising event in the golf outing’s long history,” said Greg Rush, Boys & Girls Club board member and golf committee chairman. “On behalf of all the children who rely on the much needed services of the Boys & Girls Club, we extend sincere gratitude for incredible support.”

"For 27 years Houchens has been a champion in helping us provide a safe place for children to learn and grow,” said Pam McIntyre, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Club of Bowling Green. “This year's tournament is a true testament to this as it is the biggest tournament we have had to date!  We are so grateful for Houchens and their team for helping us to help those who need us most."
